Why We’re So Passionate About Parenting
Hey friends. You may be wondering what I’m all about and why parenting is such a big deal to me. I’d love to take this opportunity to share my heart with you in hopes that I can encourage you to become passionate about parenting too!

Whether you have preschoolers, middle schoolers, or high schoolers, this blog is for you. It’s not too late to sharpen your parenting tools and improve your home life with your kids.
Friends, I say it again, it’s never too late!
I’ve messed up many times as a mother. Both my husband and I have done and said things to our kids that later made us cringe. But the good news is that those small moments don’t define us. It’s what we do after we have sinned that shapes us and our future. We either draw closer to God and the people we have hurt by repenting and asking forgiveness, or we pull away by ignoring our responsibility and behaving as if nothing happened, as if we were not wrong.
This applies to every relationship we have in our lives, especially the one with our precious children. At a very pivotal time in my life, I was told by someone whom I looked up to that my choice to be a stay-at-home mother was “The highest calling.” Those very timely words are an anchor for my soul on the hardest days of parenting. My husband and I take our job of raising the next generation very seriously, and we have seen the fruit of our hard work in the daily lives of our children.
Sadly, we also see the brokenness that comes from people who choose not to do the hard work of parenting.
There are various reasons for their choices, and I can sympathize with many of them. But what we see more than the lack of parenting, is the potential that each family has. If only they knew how beautiful life with their growing children could be. All it takes is a heart that is willing to learn, a pride that is willing to be humbled, and a person whose craving for a better life compels them to seek peace, and pursue it.
We wholly agree with Mother Theresa when she said, “If you want to change the world, go home and love your family.” God is at the heart of every family. Ephesians 3:14-15 says this:
For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named.
The condition of the relationship between you and your children matters to God.
And it matters to us, too.
So, Friends, come along on this journey with us as we share our joy, and pain, our struggles, and successes. We are passionate about parenting and our hope is that this blog will help you swim against the stream of the current culture and take back your family!
Be encouraged, and help encourage us!
